Stephanie Laska

"I like challenges! Working with clients to solve complicated legal problems is highly satisfying, and I enjoy planning the road map leading to the solution. Every client matter is unique to some degree, but many have a common thread.

Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of a particular situation is critical to determining how to present a matter to a judge or a jury, The lawyers in the Firm are constantly running ideas by each other, playing devils advocate, and exploring options - that's what I enjoy about our legal practice. Clients really benefit from having that kind of intellectual sparring going on all the time."

Stephanie has a quick intellect and thorough grasp of trial practice and procedure. She enjoys drafting legal pleadings, legal memoranda, and motions. She is an accomplished advocate for her clients, lining up successful court results on matter after matter, and handling cases to successful conclusions that other lawyers aren't willing to commit to.

Stephanie regularly appears in the Stamford and Bridgeport courts, principally on personal injury and family matters. In addition to her full-time focus on these two practice areas, Stephanie is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association Litigation Committee, and the Animal Law Practice Committee. She enjoys the challenges of complex family cases, personal injury jury trials, jury selection and interaction and court-room practice.
